Dr. Vikrant Aute has more than fifteen years of experience in the research and development of simulation and optimization software for thermal systems. He currently serves as Director of the Modeling and Optimization Consortium within CEEE. His research focuses on approximation assisted multi-objective multidisciplinary optimization, its application to the design of thermal systems, continued development of heat exchanger and vapor compression system simulation tools, and evaluation of novel heat exchanger concepts.

Dr. Aute’s prior industrial experience includes work at Thermax, Ltd. (India), Tata Infotech, Ltd. (India) and Daikin Industries, Ltd. (Japan). He holds multiple professional qualifications including Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP, Visual Basic .NET) and Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA).

Dr. Aute serves as CEO for OTS and is also the developer and Simulation Architect for CoilDesigner® and VapCyc®. He oversees all custom software development work and provides customer support for all OTS products and tools.
