Reinhard Radermacher
Dr. Yunho Hwang’s career spans more than twenty years, including ten years as a Senior Researcher at Samsung in Korea. He currently serves as the Director of the Energy Efficiency and Heat Pump Consortium within CEEE. His research focuses on energy efficiency in energy conversion systems, alternative refrigerants, and novel technologies applicable for the HVAC&R market.
Dr. Hwang has been an international advocate of HVAC&R issues and technologies through service such as Secretary of Commission B2 of the International Institute of Refrigeration (IIR). Nationally, he is an active member of the American Society of Heating Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE); the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME); the Society of Automobile Engineers (SAE); and the International Institute of Refrigeration (IIR). Dr. Hwang received his undergraduate degree from Korea University and his MS and PhD from the University of Maryland.
Dr. Hwang currently serves as Chief Science Officer for OTS, providing technical guidance and support for critical projects.
