CoilDesigner® is a flexible coil simulation tool that can shorten product development time frames and reduce product development and production costs. With one integrated tool, you can design your product, simulate its performance and optimize it for multiple objectives. Since its original release in 2002, over 4 million runs and 30 in-house validations have been conducted to verify the analysis approaches incorporated. The software is used by over 70 different companies worldwide, many of which have also conducted their own experimental validations to confirm that CoilDesigner® results accurately predict performance for new designs.
Specifically, CoilDesigner® enables:
- Modeling of tube-fin, microchannel and coaxial heat exchangers
- Fast performance evaluation, including analysis with low GWP alternative refrigerants
- Highly customizable analysis through incorporation of your own proprietary heat transfer data
- Quick simulation as the calculation engine for your product selection tool
